Cairns and Great Barrier Reef

Cairns is on the northern shore of Queensland Australia near the Great Barrier Reef tourism destination. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world's great natural wonders. Coming to the place to enjoy the tropical hot and wet climate in a small and beautiful city.
There are so many things to do here but the most important thing is to visit the Great Barrier Reef. It is the largest reef in the world and consists of nearly 3000 individual reefs, 880 islands and hundreds and thousands of different types of plant, bird and marine life. Swimming with the fish and admiring the colours of the coral is a must for any holiday to the Great Barrier Reef. Outer reef scuba diving and island day trips are some of the more common pastimes on the reef along with scenic flights.
In Cairns you can also find other destinations and place of interests. You can take rainforest tours to Kuranda and the Daintree Rainforest to learn about the forest that holds the greatest number of species. You can take a sea fishing trip to harvest mud crab and other sea fishes.

Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain is the most famous mountainous view in the NSW area featuring a tropical rainforest and valley landscape. Blue Mountain is located west to Sydney in four hours’ drive. The Greater Blue Mountains was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000 and was one of 15 World Heritage places included in the National Heritage List on 21 May 2007. Blue Mountain is a well developed tourism destination with all necessary infrastructures established including accommodation and entertainments. Tourists can take train from Sydney and stop at Katoomba, the small village town to stay and experience the aboriginal arts and life in this natural beauty.
The Blue Mountains is a magical place any time of the year. Glowing in autumn, cool in winter, colourful in spring and refreshing in summer. The Blue Mountains is densely populated by oil bearing Eucalyptus trees. The atmosphere is filled with finely dispersed droplets of oil, which, in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter short-wave length rays of light which are predominantly blue in colour. Famous place of interests include the Three Sisters, Water fall, sky rail, the world steepest train trip, wilderness tracks and trolley tours around the mountain area. Blue Mountain welcomes all tourists from all over the world throughout the year.
